Jeanne Zierhoffer is a seasoned executive coach, communication trainer, and entrepreneur who has spent more than two decades helping women business owners and coaches build confidence, clarity, and stronger client relationships. Based in Charlotte, Jeanne is the founder of JZ Lifestyle Team, where she specializes in communication strategy, leadership development, NLP coaching, and sales psychology. Often referred to as the “Implementation Queen,” she is known for breaking complex goals into actionable steps that empower clients to move from confusion to confident execution. Her work focuses heavily on helping women identify their ideal audience, strengthen rapport, and communicate in a way that inspires trust and aligned growth.

Jeanne’s professional journey has been shaped by resilience, reinvention, and a deep commitment to integrity. Early in her career, she worked in real estate development and sales in Massachusetts, where she trained and mentored new agents while building a successful business rooted in referrals and relationship marketing. After relocating to North Carolina, she expanded into coaching, sales training, and personality-based communication systems, eventually becoming a certified NLP coach and trainer. Throughout her career, Jeanne has balanced entrepreneurship with caregiving responsibilities, experiences that strengthened her belief that true leadership requires empathy, authenticity, and systems that support both business success and personal well-being. She has also been recognized internationally for her leadership and communication work, including receiving the Women of Excellence honor through the ALL Ladies League and Women Economic Forum.

Beyond coaching and consulting, Jeanne is passionate about helping people feel heard, understood, and capable of transformation. She currently works with organizations such as The Center of NLP, certifying and mentoring new coaches while continuing to lead workshops and trainings focused on servant leadership, emotional intelligence, and relationship-centered communication. In an unexpected but exciting new chapter, Jeanne recently earned her wings as a flight attendant with PSA Airlines, a role she embraced after deciding to pursue a childhood dream and challenge assumptions about age and reinvention. Whether she is coaching executives, training future leaders, or supporting travelers through difficult moments, Jeanne brings compassion, humor, and human connection to every interaction, believing that even small moments of encouragement can create lasting impact.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

My proudest accomplishment is raising my two boys and their accomplishments through teaching them good work ethic and how to do unto others. What I hear from different people out in the communities about how wonderful they are just makes my heart shine. One of my sons is the youngest car hauler driver for NASCAR, and the other is helping manage a mechanic shop with several years of education with Dodge and Chrysler. It's their accomplishments, but it's the foundation that was set in using all the tools and all of my training in conversations with them. What I love most about my work is the stories I get back from people - even if it was a year ago when a little seed was planted, how bamboo grows, and then they get the result that they were looking for just from a couple of kind words. That for me at the end of the day is the best of the best. As a flight attendant, I like meeting people and talking to people, using all my skills and certifications to help people, because some people are traveling to a funeral or something horrible just happened to them and they have to get on a plane. People aren't their behaviors - just because somebody acts badly doesn't make them a bad person. Something horrible could have just happened and you happen to be the target. People just want to be heard. Let them vent to you. It has nothing to do with you. Don't take anything personally. The Four Agreements is just such a good book.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

There is no failure, only feedback. Just keep moving forward. Obstacles happen, life happens, so just keep moving forward. And take feedback from who you take feedback from - not all feedback is from the right people. If you're going to hire a coach, make sure they have a coach.
