Jeannett Alba is an experienced operations professional and Office Manager at Y&A Cleaning, a commercial construction cleaning company serving businesses throughout Texas. With more than 20 years of experience in construction and janitorial management, she has developed extensive expertise in client relations, team leadership, scheduling, project coordination, and operational management. Known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, Jeannett plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Jeannett’s career reflects a dedication to growth and perseverance, beginning with her early work as a receptionist while gaining hands-on experience cleaning offices in the evenings. Over the years, she advanced into leadership roles where she helped build and manage Y&A Cleaning’s janitorial division, oversee client accounts, coordinate change orders, and support both internal teams and external partners. Her ability to solve problems, build trust, and create lasting professional relationships has been central to her success.
Guided by faith, integrity, compassion, and a commitment to serving others, Jeannett believes success is built through honesty, consistency, and a willingness to work hard toward meaningful goals. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say my dedication, Integrity. And the trust that I build with my clients. Whether it's behind the scenes or directly interfacing with them, I ensure that my work is grounded and honest, and I follow through with a passion of excellence.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I think the best advice that I've ever received was to always aim higher. Even when you have challenges arise, your persistence and grow with your mindset. It just -- every hurdle that you have is an opportunity to grow.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give a young woman would be never underestimate your potential. Seek out mentors. Stay curious. Don't be afraid of taking challenges. Keep learning, keep growing. and always remember to give back to the community. And that's gonna make a lasting change.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Oh, that it's a dominant male field. We're going into a dominant male field, so some of these people do not take women seriously, but women are growing in this industry. And we're working hand-in-hand next to the men in the industry, and getting it done.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My faith. My faith is my cornerstone in both my personal life and my career. God has guided me through some of the toughest moments in my life, giving me strength. Alongside faith, I value the integrity, compassion, and commitment to both my professional life and my personal life.
