About Jeannette
Jeannette Fritz is a pharmaceutical labeling specialist and regulatory operations leader with nine years of experience in global labeling, clinical trial support, and supply chain operations. She currently serves as Manager of Label Development and Management at Daiichi Sankyo US, where she leads the development and execution of labeling strategies for oncology studies and commercial products. With expertise in regulatory compliance, labeling systems, and cross-functional collaboration, Jeannette ensures that accurate medication labels are created and delivered to support patients worldwide.
Throughout her career, Jeannette has built a strong foundation in pharmaceutical operations, beginning in warehousing before advancing into clinical supply logistics, project coordination, and ultimately global labeling management. At Daiichi Sankyo, she achieved a significant milestone by establishing an internal labeling team and creating processes and software workflows where none previously existed. She manages complex labeling initiatives involving translation service providers, regulatory requirements across multiple countries, internal stakeholders, and external printing vendors to ensure compliant and timely delivery of oncology medication labels. Her work reflects a commitment to precision, process improvement, and operational excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.
Jeannette is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies at Thomas Edison State University, continuing her professional growth after beginning her career with a high school diploma. She attributes her success to her passion for her work, perseverance, and understanding that even the smallest operational details can have a direct impact on patients receiving life-changing treatments. Outside of her professional role, Jeannette supports Habitat for Humanity and enjoys spending time with her children, being outdoors, swimming, traveling, exploring Japanese culture and anime, and caring for animals. She also embraces her role as a Karate mom, balancing family, community involvement, and lifelong learning.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the passion I have for what I do. Without labels we can't get medication to patients who need it.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is that the biggest challenge we face is often ourselves. Success requires self-awareness, resilience, and the ability to overcome personal limitations. By continuously challenging myself, learning, and growing, I have been able to navigate obstacles and achieve my professional goals.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to never be afraid to try. Embrace new opportunities, take risks, and have confidence in your abilities. Growth comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone, learning from experiences, and believing in yourself throughout your journey.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in my field right now is global communication across different regions and time zones, particularly for someone working with Japan-based colleagues and teams in Germany, China, and Taiwan.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, commitment and perseverance are the most important values to me in my work and personal life.
