Jemma Wygodny

She is a creative and community-focused student leader with a strong passion for design, communications, and arts advocacy, currently serving as Nominee Research Coordinator at Chicago Innovation, where she supports research and coordination for innovation recognition programs. She also serves as Art Director at WNUR 89.3FM, overseeing visual content and creative direction, and as VP Communications and Project Member at Design for America at Northwestern, where she manages social media content and works on redesigning gastric feeding tubes for Lurie Children's Hospital. Her experience includes an internship at Snow City Arts, where she secured copyright licensing for over 100 artworks for educational materials used in Chicago hospitals, and participation in the ACE Mentor Chicago program, where she co-designed and constructed a 10,000-square-foot memorial presented at the Association for Community Design national conference. She is recognized as a creative, detail-oriented, and community-driven leader who is deeply committed to design, social impact, and using creative problem-solving to improve lives and communities.
