Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jen
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my personal journey of healing and growth through meditation, nutrition, and self-compassion. I have learned to slow down, nurture my mind, body, and spirit, and trust the body’s capacity to heal. My continuous commitment to learning about neuroplasticity, food as medicine, and holistic well-being has strengthened my resilience, deepened my understanding of healing, and inspired me to keep growing both personally and professionally.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received came from my dad: Do what you love, find your passion and purpose, and work will never feel like work. He also taught me to remain open-minded and curious, embrace new opportunities, and trust the journey as it unfolds.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to follow your passion and trust your intuition. Learn to listen to yourself, stay curious about what inspires and energizes you, and build meaningful connections with women you trust and who support your growth. Don’t be afraid to evolve or change direction over time, and always strive to stay aligned with your values and purpose.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the wellness field right now is the overwhelming amount of information available, which can make it difficult to know what truly works for each individual. Many women have also been conditioned to override their instincts and needs and continue pushing rather than pausing and listening to themselves. I see a significant opportunity to help clients reconnect with their values and understand their deeper “why,” empowering them to make sustainable, personalized changes rather than follow a one-size-fits-all approach.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are presence, curiosity, compassion, and connection. I strive to listen internally, approach myself and others with curiosity and compassion, and live in alignment with my values. I also believe in creating a strong foundation for well-being through quality sleep, nourishing food, daily meditation, and spending time outdoors.
