Jen Hunter
Jen Hunter is a Certified Professional Coach and founder of Outer Limits Coaching, where she helps individuals navigate the pivotal question: “What now...what’s next?” With over 27 years of corporate experience spanning recruitment, sales leadership, and global team development, Jen brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her coaching practice. She began her career as a recruiter, guiding professionals toward meaningful opportunities, and went on to lead high-performing global teams at companies such as NetSuite and Tipalti, where she mentored employees, drove productivity, and cultivated inclusive, value-driven cultures.
Throughout her career, Jen discovered that true success isn’t just about climbing the corporate ladder—it’s about finding purpose and alignment between one’s work and values. That insight inspired her to start Outer Limits Coaching, where she now empowers clients to build confidence, clarity, and direction in their careers. She specializes in helping college graduates preparing to enter the workforce and women reentering their careers, providing them with tools to identify their strengths, evaluate company culture, and choose paths that align with their personal and professional goals.
Beyond her professional life, Jen finds joy and balance through simple moments—playing tennis, gardening, skiing, walking her dog and connecting with nature. She values authenticity, compassion, and empowerment in both her work and personal life. As she continues to expand her coaching practice, Jen is passionate about connecting with influential women leaders and networks who share her mission of inspiring others to embrace change, pursue purpose, and unlock their full potential.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my 27 years of experience working in top global companies, where I learned the importance of understanding people and aligning values with purpose. My success comes from genuine connection, perseverance, and a deep desire to help others find fulfillment in their careers.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never settle for the first job offer that comes your way. Take the time to find a company whose culture and values align with your own. That mindset has shaped my career and is now something I pass on to my clients.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the coaching or corporate field is to know your worth and trust your intuition. Be intentional about where you want to grow and surround yourself with mentors and communities that empower you. Don’t be afraid to take up space—you belong in every room you walk into.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in coaching today is standing out in a crowded market. However, this also presents a great opportunity—to connect more deeply with specific audiences like college graduates and women reentering the workforce. These groups are seeking genuine guidance, and that’s where meaningful impact happens.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, authenticity, and compassion are at the heart of everything I do. I believe success isn’t just about landing a job—it’s about finding a place where your values, purpose, and happiness align. In my personal life, I live those same values by spending time in nature, gardening, playing tennis and walking my dog, which helps me stay grounded and grateful.
