About Jen
I have been in the gaming, hospitality, and technology field for 20 years. I started in HR at an MGM property in Mississippi after playing basketball in college and changing my major to HR. I worked at MGM Resorts International for about 15 years, including corporate roles, before joining Aristocrat Technologies about six and a half years ago. Currently, I serve as a global HR executive for the land-based business, supporting the CEO as a strategic business partner focused on people strategies, culture, and high-performance teams.

Ten minutes with Jen
01What do you attribute your success to?
My upbringing taught me hard work, respect for others and what you have, and that hard work can get you where you want to go. I didn't have a lot of money growing up but had unconditional love from my family.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Be curious, network, learn more, get involved in projects, expand your scope, and get your brand out there. The disciplines from playing sports like hard work and teamwork have also been a big impact.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be curious, don't be afraid of joining other projects, learn as much as you can while protecting yourself from burnout. Learn how tools like AI can help you be more productive.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Quality in my work is really important. Valuing people and their differences, recognizing I can't do it on my own and need a team, supporting each other as humans who make mistakes but are on the same team.
