Jen Malin

I started my consulting career in 2010 after working in warehousing and supply chain operations. When I came into consulting, I built my career around those operational milestones, initially working from an operations standpoint on operation value creation and business case creation. Through the years, I've evolved into strategy transformation work, focusing on long-term, large-scale programs that have supply chain backgrounds. Now as a Senior Manager 6, I'm leading two different major programs - one digital transformation and one strategy transformation at two different clients. My work involves managing teams on a day-to-day basis, building strong client relationships, and identifying market conditions and trends to validate that what our clients are doing are the right things. I'm passionate about making a real difference - I've worked on programs with EY that have been truly life-changing for our clients, helping them better serve their customers. Beyond client work, mentoring is huge for me. I've been able to help over 20 people get promoted and support their personal and professional development throughout their career journeys. I earned my MBA in Global Supply Chain in 2018, waiting a solid 10 years to go back to school. My career path wasn't traditional - I didn't go to a top 10 school or a big state university, I went to a smaller university - and I want to show others that there are different pathways to become successful. It's really about building the right network and having the right people around you, especially from a mentorship perspective, that helps you continue to grow.
