About Jenell
Jenell Alexander-Moctezuma is a certified life coach, notary public, author, and former business executive whose career spans entertainment management, commercial real estate, and personal transformation coaching. Based in Palm Coast, Florida, she currently operates her coaching practice through J. Alexander-Moctezuma, helping individuals—particularly women and seniors—navigate personal growth, self-discovery, and life transitions. Her coaching approach combines spirituality, wellness, NLP, somatic healing, and holistic life strategies, empowering clients to live authentically and prioritize their well-being. Moctezuma's professional journey began in the entertainment industry in the early 1980s, when she stepped into artist management and operations leadership. Over the years, she gained experience negotiating opportunities involving prominent performers, arranging high-profile appearances, coordinating international tours, and overseeing music production and record label operations. Her success in entertainment management eventually led her into commercial real estate, where she managed prestigious properties in New York City, including a prominent Fifth Avenue office building. In this role, she handled tenant relations, property operations, and administrative management for major corporate occupants while adhering to industry best practices. Following her retirement from full-time corporate work, Moctezuma redirected her expertise toward coaching, mentoring, writing, and community engagement. She earned certification through Transformation Academy and now specializes in transformational life coaching, relationship mentoring, wellness coaching, and personal empowerment. Through her coaching initiatives, social media community, and published works, she encourages individuals to embrace authenticity, resilience, and self-prioritization. Her diverse career background and commitment to helping others create meaningful lives have established her as a trusted guide for personal and professional transformation.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My success comes from my mom's voice in my head saying keep moving, you'll get there. I stand on the shoulders of my ancestors, like my great-great-grandmother who survived the Trail of Tears. I didn't have mentors but I kept going through prayer, meditation, and journaling.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Keep moving forward, no matter what! It's all experience. Life is up and down, highs and lows, Just keep moving forward. Keep your focus to the big picture. Remember your love for your passion.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You are awesome for being authentic. You don't and can't fit into anyone lese shoes but your own. There is alot of life to live. Be adventureous. Don't be afraid to just jump in the water. YOU WILL NOT DROWN!!!
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Transitioning from the old way of doing things to the AI era. Learning a whole new system of doing things. I love it! Remebering that no one has your wisdom or experiences like yours. You are unique. The challenge is to keep this in the for front of focus to continue and not give up. Also, not to compare yourself to other coaches.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty and loyalty is everything. These are deal breakers! Be honest with yourself and be loyal to your ideals, beliefs, passions, interests and causes, but most of all to YOU.
