Jenifer Davis
Jenifer Davis (also known as Jenifer Howe) is a dedicated educator and instructional leader with over a decade of experience in the Glendale Elementary School District No. 40. With a background in both Special Education and General Education, she has spent her career driving student success while supporting teacher growth. Jenifer has held roles ranging from classroom teacher to Technology Mentor, providing hands-on support for digital tools and helping streamline school-wide communication. Her approach emphasizes problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration, ensuring that both students and educators thrive in a dynamic learning environment. For the past six years, Jenifer has served as a Team Lead and member of the School Leadership Team, where she has guided colleagues through data-driven instructional shifts, analyzed performance data to improve outcomes, and mentored new teachers in classroom management and lesson design. She has led cross-functional initiatives, coordinated curriculum development projects, and implemented programs that enhance both student engagement and staff collaboration. Her leadership style blends practical classroom experience with strategic oversight, helping schools adopt effective teaching practices and educational technologies. Jenifer holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary and Special Education from Arizona State University. She is currently a 6th-grade teacher at Glenn F. Burton Elementary School, focusing on English Language Arts and Social Studies, while continuing her roles as a mentor, technology leader, and team lead. Driven by a passion to glorify God through her work and act for the greater good, Jenifer remains committed to professional growth, educational excellence, and the development of both students and fellow educators.

My advice to young women entering the industry is to set clear boundaries and leave work at work, prioritizing balance and well-being.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
A major challenge is that teaching is evolving at a rapid pace and educators are continuously being asked to adapt new initiatives which are often layered into existing responsibilities. The greatest opportunity is collaborative leadership that keeps students at the center of all decisions.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value to me in both my work and personal life is faith, which guides my decisions, actions, and interactions with others.
