Ten minutes with Jeniffer

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I think the number one thing that I have always done is walked into the room with confidence, not cockiness. I think there's a fine line between the two. Be confident enough in who you are and what you're bringing to the table to know that you have a seat there. In a male-dominated industry like natural gas, you have to use your voice and make room for yourself at the table.

02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is both an opportunity and a challenge. It can help with ideas and cut time in half using tools like Microsoft Co-Pilot, but I hope it never replaces the human factor in facilitation because conversations lead to important aha moments.
