Ten minutes with Jenise
01What do you attribute your success to?
My faith & being intentional (about building relationships). Any success I’ve achieved Is through grace and intentionally fostering & nurturing relationships. That is how things get done, through relationships so it is important to take great care growth them in meaningful non-transactional way.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Give yourself grace. I’m my own worst critic & often hard on myself when learning something new. I’ve been told by mentors & leaders to give yourself grace…this is new. Hence why, in part, I chose Grace for my company name. Change is difficult, but grace makes things a little easier.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the workforce in general to you use your voice to advocate for yourself & invest in yourself when no one else will.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The current economy & job market are tough in general, but especially for entrepreneurs just starting out. It’s important to be well connected & leverage the relationships in your network.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Grace. Grace lays the foundation for other values I call “The Vines” of Grace Noir.

-Be Authentic
-Be Patient
