About Jenn
I'm a family law paralegal with over 20 years of experience in the field. I work at Materese Family Law in Fort Washington, where I've had the privilege of working alongside the firm's owner for over ten years. When she decided to go off on her own and start this firm, she brought me along with her.. My path into law wasn't exactly planned - I kind of fell into it. My mother was a legal secretary, and I started working at her firm as a file clerk over summers. I just started working there and have been in it ever since.

01What do you attribute your success to?
The attorney I work for has been instrumental in my professional development. She allows me to stretch my paralegal wings and is big on education. She's taught me how to advocate for clients and how to be strong while also being soft. She's been a big inspiration to me throughout my career.
I've also been inspired and lifted up by the other women in my life - my friends, my colleagues, and my fellow volunteers in the organizations I'm part of. I've been incredibly fortunate to be able to surround myself with so many amazing women and I like to think that I could be an inspiration to other women as well!
