Ten minutes with Jenn

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I was told early on to always listen. You have two ears and one mouth for a reason. Especially with clients, listen to the things they're not saying, the things in between what they're actually saying and what they're really meaning. Keep your mouth quiet a little bit longer, especially with clients, and also in meetings with peers.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Nothing's impossible. If you want to do something, there's usually a way to get there. You have to take that never-give-up attitude. You can always forge your own path, but you gotta stay dedicated and passionate to it. If you lose those things, if you let the status quo become acceptable, that's where you end up losing that.
