About Jenn

Jenn Strutzel is an accomplished entrepreneur and events professional with almost 25 years of experience in event management, program leadership, and client services. As Founder and President of Premier Events, she has led her own business since 2006. Her company manages corporate events for brands across the globe, helping them bring key moments to life through announcements, launches, trade shows, conferences, and executive gatherings. She partners closely with clients to manage project management and vision, coordinating suppliers and working end-to-end as an extension of their teams. Prior to founding her company, she worked in marketing and digital marketing within the volunteer sector after initially studying kinesiology and therapy in college. Jenn holds a Bachelor of Science from Bonsai University. Her company is women certified, minority certified, and certified with the Nike Minority Supplier group. She volunteers in a lead role with the Northwest Event Show and is active in community volunteering. She attributes her success to the ability to pivot and be flexible in the event industry, as well as discerning and putting together the pieces of the puzzle to bring larger visions to life. Her advice to young women entering the industry is to find a community of mentors and a support system to collaborate, coordinate, and lean in with others.

Ten minutes with Jenn

01What do you attribute your success to?

In the event industry, being able to pivot and be flexible has been a huge key success factor. Another strength is being able to discern and put the pieces of the puzzle together to see the parts and help bring that to life in a much larger picture.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Find a community of people who you look up to, to be able to mentor as well as support system, right? To be able to collaborate and coordinate with and ask all the questions and kind of lean in with everybody.
