Jenna Butler is a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professional with extensive experience supporting safety, compliance, and operational excellence within the oil and gas, construction, and industrial sectors. With a strong background in workplace safety management, risk mitigation, auditing, training, and regulatory compliance, she has developed a reputation for strategic problem-solving, effective communication, and building collaborative safety cultures. Jenna has held key HSE roles with organizations including The Bosworth Company, Tenaris, and Schlumberger, where she has supported complex operations, large-scale projects, and diverse teams across Texas.

Throughout her career, Jenna has led safety initiatives focused on injury prevention, environmental responsibility, compliance improvement, and employee engagement. At The Bosworth Company, she serves as HSE Director, overseeing safety programs across multiple locations and industries, including automotive, construction, warehousing, and residential and commercial services. Previously, at Tenaris, she managed environmental health and safety responsibilities for major industrial operations, including a significant yard expansion project, while supporting training, inspections, incident prevention, and operational safety improvements. Her earlier experience with Schlumberger strengthened her expertise in field safety, audits, facility management, and workforce engagement.

Jenna earned a Bachelor of Communication with a minor in Management and Strategic Messaging from The University of Texas Permian Basin, graduating with a 3.9 GPA, and holds an Associate of Science in Business and Environmental Science from Lone Star College. She has completed numerous safety and compliance certifications, including OSHA, HAZMAT, DOT, and environmental training, and is an active member of the American Society of Safety Professionals and Permian Basin STEPS. 01What do you attribute your success to?

My mom for her suggestions and inspiration, the grace of God, working two jobs full-time while going to school and raising my son full-time, and mentors along the way.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Just be cool - don't have to say everything that comes to mind, save your poker face or go with the flow, be more refined and professional.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If I can do it so can you, if there is a will there is a way. Hard work pays off. Networking and truly caring and getting to know people is really vital.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Getting everyone on board to send everybody home safely, making sure operations sees the value in safety rather than taking shortcuts that put lives in jeopardy. Opportunity to be human and kind with people, inspire them, and sell safety to operations.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
