Electrolit USA
Corpus Christi, TX 78414

Jennice Schumacher is a seasoned National Account Manager with over 11 years of experience in the beverage industry. She currently oversees major convenience and grocery chains, including H-E-B, Albertsons, Circle K, Love’s Travel Stops, and Murphy USA, managing everything from pricing structures and promotional strategies to distributor relations and in-store shelf placement. Throughout her tenure at Electrolit USA, Jennice has achieved remarkable growth, more than doubling both the business and shelf space within her accounts, establishing herself as a key driver of brand expansion. Before her success in beverages, Jennice began her professional journey in oil and gas sales, later transitioning into the beverage sector with positions at Essentia, ZenWTR, Gizmo Beverages, and FIFCO USA. Her career trajectory reflects her determination and adaptability—taking a pay cut to enter the industry, starting at the ground level selling beer, and steadily rising to national account management. Beyond her corporate role, she also owns a creative balloon company, designing large-scale displays and event installations for malls, parties, and special occasions. Jennice holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management and a Masters degree in Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, complementing her practical experience with strong academic foundations. She actively supports charitable organizations including the 100 Women Charity League, Go Red for the American Heart Association, Coastal Conservation Affiliation, the Boys & Girls Club, Special Olympics, and the Wounded Warrior Project. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her son play baseball, participating in barrel racing and rodeos, fishing, hunting, and playing golf. Her career is guided by mentors such as Neil Kimberly, whose guidance helped shape her into a recognized leader.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success primarily to my motivation and drive. While I am naturally results-oriented and understand the importance of financial performance in a sales role, my greatest motivation comes from a desire to advance my career. I am focused on continuing to grow and take on greater responsibilities, with the goal of reaching a senior leadership position in the near future.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is not to chase titles. I’ve seen many people leave opportunities simply for a “better” title, but I’ve learned that focusing on building experience and skills is far more valuable. What matters most to me is the growth, knowledge, and impact I’ve gained along the way—not the title itself.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the beverage industry is to have a strong backbone and confidence in your expertise. While the industry is evolving, it has traditionally been male-driven, so it’s important not to accept “no” at face value. Stand your ground, know your worth, and don’t shy away from asserting yourself—even in challenging situations. The industry is becoming more welcoming to women than when I first started, but success still requires confidence, resilience, and the ability to advocate for yourself.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is mainly the competition. Once there's a good brand out there that really starts doing well, you start competing with beverages like Gatorade, which is twice our size, but we're a big competitor to them. We're number two behind them nationally. The biggest opportunity is going to be the growth. When I first started at Electrolit in 2022, me and one other guy got hired on as the first key account managers they've ever had. So the opportunity is just the growth of the business and being able to have a bigger team. We're growing our employees as we grow our business, which means we can get into more locations and manage all of our chains on a better level rather than having way too many accounts where you're not able to put your full focus into them.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are faith, family, and balance—always in that order. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential, as it allows me to be present for my family while excelling in my career. For example, I make it a priority to attend my son’s baseball games whenever possible, recognizing that family moments are irreplaceable. I’m grateful that companies like Essentia and Electrolit have supported this balance, allowing me to thrive professionally while keeping family at the center of my life.
