About Jennifer
Jennifer Blanks is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner located in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She graduated with both her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama. She started her career as a Registered Nurse working in Labor and Delivery for several years at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women in Memphis, Tennessee, before moving to Florida. After staying home with her children and navigating a divorce, she returned to work as a wellness IV infusion nurse and school in 2019. Jennifer has practiced the last 5 years as a Nurse Practitioner with her strongest background in rheumatology. Blanks worked full-time at a Gulf Breeze rheumatology clinic before stepping out in May to launch her own business, Soundside Medical, a telehealth primary care practice focused on perimenopause and menopausal health conditions. She also started working part-time at AMG rheumatology in Destin during her transition. She earned certification in HRT from the Academy for Advanced Women’s Health Medicine last year. Blanks is a member of OUR Rescue, a human trafficking awareness organization where she led a demonstration in 2020 for World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. Jennifer remains actively involved in her church, Bible study, and Celebrate Recovery. She attributes her success entirely to her faith in Jesus and advises aspiring business owners to keep going despite self-doubt by taking it one step at a time.
