Jennifer Bonnier

Jennifer Bonnier is a seasoned beauty industry professional with over 18 years of experience in salon management and cosmetology. As General Manager of FS Cut & Color, part of the Fantastic Sams Franchise, she oversees three locations in the Grand Rapids area, fostering environments where stylists can thrive and clients receive exceptional service. A graduate of Chic University of Cosmetology, Jennifer combines technical expertise with business acumen, excelling in areas such as cosmetics, hair cutting, store management, and sales.

Jennifer’s journey into cosmetology began later than most. At 31, after becoming a mother, she made the courageous decision to pursue a career in beauty, balancing creative aspirations with leadership responsibilities. As a single mother of four, she relied on determination, self-education, and perseverance to build her skills and grow professionally. Her hands-on experience across multiple salon roles—from stylist to senior designer to salon manager—has given her a deep understanding of both client needs and operational management.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has adapted to shifts in the beauty industry, including evolving client behaviors and the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. She emphasizes mentorship and coaching, helping stylists develop their unique voices while fostering supportive, team-driven cultures. A Redken Ambassador and Q Certified professional, she also engages in community-focused initiatives, reflecting her belief that leadership is about lifting others. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys family time, outdoor activities, and music, demonstrating a grounded approach to life and leadership in the modern beauty industry.
