Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jennifer

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to staying focused, being dependable and trustworthy, working hard, and showing up every day.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I ever received was not to give up. My mother was a hard worker who never gave up, and she always told me not to give up because she knew I was capable of more.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Have the confidence to know that you belong in the rooms. Women sometimes feel like there's a bunch of men here and they don't belong, but you do. Find your voice by having the confidence to walk in and know that you belong there, and always continue to learn.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is adapting to new technology because it's coming at rapid speed and you have to become a pro at it in a very short amount of time. The biggest opportunity is continuous learning because there are so many platforms and groups out there, and if you want to learn something, it's out there.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, hard work, and being dependable are the values most important to me in both my work and personal life.
