About Jennifer
Jennifer Brookby is a holistic health and fertility coach, registered nurse, and Board-Certified Nurse Coach with a diverse background in healthcare, wellness, and integrative health. Based in Grove, Oklahoma, she currently works as a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, drawing on her credentials as an RN, BSN, NC-BC, and Holistic Ayurvedic Coach. Her professional experience also includes approximately 20 years as a licensed massage therapist and work as a personal trainer, giving her a broad perspective on physical health and whole-person wellness.
Jennifer began her career in the health and wellness field through massage therapy and bodywork before expanding into personal training and entrepreneurship. She later pursued nursing, completing her LPN education in 2011, becoming an RN in 2016, and earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in 2019. Her nursing career included work in the emergency room, where she gained valuable clinical experience before transitioning away from hospital-based care. She subsequently became a Board-Certified Nurse Coach, allowing her to integrate her nursing background with a more holistic approach to health and wellness.
Today, Jennifer focuses on fertility coaching and integrative approaches to women's health, particularly supporting high-performing women experiencing fertility challenges and hormonal concerns. She incorporates principles from integrative medicine, Ayurveda, nervous-system regulation, nutrition, and other holistic health modalities into her coaching philosophy. Jennifer is also pursuing a Master of Science in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda at Maharishi International University, with graduation expected in December 2026. Through her coaching practice, she aims to help clients look beyond conventional health markers and develop a more comprehensive understanding of the connections among hormones, gut health, stress, lifestyle, and overall well-being.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jennifer
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to overcoming fear and finding strength through my healing journey after surviving a violent crime at age 17. Exploring rehabilitation, self-help, spirituality, and homeopathy helped me understand different paths to healing. Overcoming my fear of personal safety, connecting with others through social media, and trusting that God has called me to this path have been key to my growth and success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received has come from the people who taught me the importance of love, encouragement, and believing in myself. My mother showed me the value of nurturing others, my brother introduced me to fitness and wellness, and my husband encouraged me to pursue nursing, education, certifications, and new opportunities even when I doubted myself. Their support, along with my faith, taught me to trust my journey, continue growing, and use my experiences to help and encourage others.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to start with a certification program to explore different areas of natural health, such as homeopathy, Ayurveda, or bodywork. You don’t need to have your entire career path figured out from the beginning. Exploring different modalities through hands-on experience can help you discover what truly resonates with you and guide you toward the path that best fits your interests and strengths.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in natural health is the lack of a clearly defined career pathway compared with traditional medicine. Having a mentor early in my career could have helped me navigate the field more efficiently. I see a strong opportunity to support other healthpreneurs by sharing what I’ve learned about building natural health businesses, avoiding common pitfalls, and understanding the clinical side of the industry.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I believe in putting God first, followed by family and self-care. I prioritize my marriage through quality time and connection, while making sure my children are well cared for. I also believe self-care is not selfish, so I make time for daily exercise, adequate rest, and nourishing food. Maintaining this balance allows me to show up with greater energy, love, and abundance for the people around me.
