Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jennifer
01What do you attribute your success to?
I would say purpose. I am definitely walking in my purpose, and that and being authentic. This is who I am. I draw the people who are similar to me, or who can learn from me in a way that is impactful. I love what I do. I love connecting with people, I love helping people realize their dreams.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to show myself grace. There is no perfect career journey, and setbacks are part of the process. I've learned to be patient, keep moving forward, and trust that meaningful progress takes time.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Honor the inner voice. There is this story about a frog climbing a tree while people shout you can't do that, but the frog was deaf and used their negativity as cheering to win.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is sometimes I am more invested in their win than they are. I can see the potential and the journey but sometimes you just can't get another person to see what you see about them. The greatest opportunity is growth itself and touching the lives, the impact that I can have.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authenticity is the value I hold most in both my work and personal life. Embracing who I am keeps me from comparing myself to others and reminds me that everyone has their own unique strengths and path.
