01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of my ex-principals inspired me to keep moving forward. She believed in me and told me I do great things and would do great things. She was a straight shooter and her encouragement really spoke to the value I bring and that maybe this is something I'm meant to do.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Relationships are super important in any career. Uphold your ethical values and integrity even behind closed doors. You never know the impact you make until years later. Be resilient, keep pushing forward even when doors close. Be a good example to others.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The main challenge for providers is billing and insurance. Helping support mental health and getting paid by insurance is difficult.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, honesty, and being resilient are the main things.
