Her Story
About Jennifer
Jennifer Crafford serves as a medical sales representative in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she sells limb-lengthening nails and manages inventory for implants while supporting surgical procedures. She began her career after earning a physical therapist assistant degree and practicing full-time in that field for five years, which provided her with strong clinical acumen for interacting with surgeons and patients. Transitioning to medical sales in 2024, she previously worked in joint replacements before focusing on her current niche product that helps patients, including veterans and children, address limb length discrepancies. Crafford is a member of the Globus Women in Network within her company and draws on her experience as a first-generation American with family roots in South Africa, where she completed an internship with the nonprofit Project Playground and its Play on Wheels program supporting children with disabilities. She emphasizes honest and open communication as a core value and advises others to pursue careers they genuinely enjoy given the personal sacrifices involved.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jennifer
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You have to actually enjoy what you do. It's a job known for being high-paying but there are long days and sacrifices on a personal level. If you don't genuinely find fulfillment, you won't make it in the long run.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honest and open communication is the most important thing in both professional and personal life. I would rather address a potential problem before it arises than react retroactively.
