Her Story
About Jennifer
Jennifer Davis is a Major Account Manager at UBEO Business Services in Austin, Texas, where she has spent 15 years helping organizations streamline document workflows and technology solutions. Known as "The Document Diva," she brings roughly two decades of experience in the office equipment industry and specializes in document workflow integration and cost reduction for businesses managing multiple print devices. Her career began in graphic design and print, a foundation that continues to shape how she supports designers and clients today.
An entrepreneur as well as a sales professional, Davis founded Memorazine in 2018, a service that creates customized memory books styled like magazines to honor milestones and personal stories. The concept has since grown into branding applications for businesses, and each piece is produced using equipment from her showroom. Her creative background also allows her to offer logo design, business cards, one-sheets, and presentations, alongside a network of marketing professionals who provide copywriting, web development, SEO, and video production.
Davis is deeply committed to building relationships and giving back. A member of BNI for 22 years, she is also active in Texas Women in Business, where she is a finalist for Artist of the Year at the Star Gala, and in Austin Business Woman. She has served nine years on the Austin Opera Serenata fundraiser committee, contributing in-kind printing support to the annual event. Davis holds a B.A. in Marketing from Texas State University.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jennifer
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to strategic networking that is intentional and centered on giving first. By asking open-ended questions and listening for opportunities to refer business or make key introductions, I have built long-term professional referral relationships that have paid me back tenfold.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I have received is to network strategically and with intention, always seeking to give first. I begin with open-ended questions, let people talk about themselves, and listen for chances to refer business to them or make impactful introductions.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Go out and build a strong network, because people do business with those they know, like, and trust. Surround yourself with people you can learn from, and never be the smartest person in the room.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value helping others grow their business through referrals and education. I am equally committed to supporting the local artist scene and my community through volunteering.
