Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jennifer

01What do you attribute your success to?

My success is rooted in hard work, my faith, and the support of my husband. Having a husband who believes in me and stands with me has given me strength, courage, and stability.

My faith has guided every major step. Trusting that I hear from God and following where He leads has shaped who I am, what I do, and where I am today.

Hard work has been the part I bring to that faith: staying consistent, learning, growing, and continuing to show up.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The most valuable career lessons I have learned have come through experience, trial and error, and observing different leadership styles.

Experience has taught me that leadership is not only about following a model. It is about learning what is effective, discerning what is aligned, and allowing those lessons to shape how you lead.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Trust your instincts and be willing to learn through trial and error. The best leadership wisdom is not only studied, it is lived.

Practice what you want to teach before you teach it. Let your own experience refine the message so what you offer others carries depth, integrity, and real authority.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

There is a clear opportunity to bring identity, alignment, and civic leadership together in a way many communities are missing. Leaders are often taught strategy, influence, and execution, but not always the inner alignment required to steward responsibility well.

The challenge is having the courage to speak up in spaces that have historically been shaped by men, hierarchy, and older models of leadership. It requires bringing a different perspective to the table and trusting that it belongs there.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me most in both my personal and professional life are integrity, honor, respect, and trust. I believe these principles are the foundation of strong relationships, effective leadership, and lasting success.
