She is a construction administrator and healthcare support professional with experience in administrative coordination, office software, databases, patient assessment, direct care, EMR systems, data entry, immunization records, communication, and clinical support. She currently works as a Construction Administrator at Kiewit, supporting construction operations in Abilene, Texas. Her background includes more than 20 years in healthcare roles, including clinic health aide, medical assistant, and emergency room technician positions with Leander ISD, CareNow/St. David’s, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, and South Austin Medical Center.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My children have always been my driving force. They're my motivation.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never allow speed bumps throughout life to stop you. No matter how long the journey takes, stay on your path. Sometimes our paths change and that's okay, as long as you're willing to be adaptable and true to yourself. Continue down your journey, and don't let anything stop you.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is huge. I think that's very important in both your home life and your work life. Pride. I think you should take pride in everything that you do. And be inquisitive, that's the only way that you're going to learn more and potentially see what else there is out there for you to become.
