Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to both of my grandfathers, one who passed away a few years ago. One built our family farm from the ground up and the other built his business in the oil field. Growing up, I watched them work tirelessly every day, facing challenges with determination and resilience. Observing their dedication instilled in me a strong work ethic and a drive to approach each day with the same focus and commitment.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to focus on what makes you stand out. If there are ten people in the same profession, ask yourself: what sets you apart? That mindset has stayed with me throughout my educational journey and into my career. It continues to drive me to refine my skills and grow with purpose, so I don't just blend in - I stand out.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay persistent and keep moving forward, even when challenges arise. Consistently building and nurturing your network is also essential—reach out to women in your desired field on LinkedIn or other platforms to seek advice, guidance, and mentorship. These connections can provide invaluable insights and open doors as you advance in your career.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating the rise of AI and understanding how it reshapes the HR landscape, from hiring to employee experience.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My core values are faith, family, and purpose. Keeping God at the center of my life guides my decisions, and prioritizing family reminds me why I strive to grow and succeed.
