About Jennifer
She is a dedicated transportation and education operations leader with over 17 years of experience in team leadership, program management, and student transportation services, currently serving as Director of Transportation at Rockwall ISD. In this role, she oversees all transportation operations, team building, and compliance with state and federal guidelines. Prior to this role, she served as Assistant Director at Frisco ISD, where she supervised 13 staff members and 200 bus drivers and monitors across 100 special education routes, managed daily route communications, recruited and built teams, provided continuing education, oversaw payroll and overtime, and coordinated training for regional competitions. Her career also includes serving as Dispatcher at Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD and as Director of Firehouse Dayschool for 14 years, where she supervised 10-12 staff members and 60 enrolled children, ensuring adherence to state and local guidelines. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from East Texas A&M University. She is recognized as a strategic, relationship-driven, and safety-focused leader who is deeply committed to providing safe, reliable transportation for students while building strong teams and fostering open communication between transportation, campuses, and families.
