01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My creative director Kim West told me for your presentation of your work, for your portfolio, only put the most outrageous stuff up there. Show your absolute wildest, most amazing self. My business mentor said just focus, focus, focus. Sell one product.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Your perspective, your background, your cultural perspective, all of your family history and your cultural history is a huge component of what you bring to the work. Do not shy away from bringing your perspective and your unique experience. By being yourself, the authenticity is what is the most compelling thing out there.
