Jennifer Hill, CPhT, BS, is an accomplished healthcare and pharmaceutical professional with a proven track record in pharmacy operations, USP 797 sterile compounding, medication management, and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as an Account Manager for Healthcare Solutions at Inmar Intelligence, she provides end-to-end support—ranging from system implementation and client training to project management and technical troubleshooting. Recognized for designing efficient inventory and workflow systems, Jennifer consistently reduces waste, improves productivity, and elevates client satisfaction.
Previously, she held key roles at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, where she supported inpatient and emergency care teams, advanced sterile compounding practices, and mentored pharmacy staff in high-volume, regulated environments. Her background also includes serving as an Emergency Medical Technician and managing operations as a licensed Realtor, demonstrating her versatility and strong business acumen.
Her journey started in pharmacy, where she spent over 20 years working closely with patients. Over time, she realized she wanted to be part of the bigger picture—driving change and improving systems, not just processes. That realization led her to explore IT roles in healthcare, and eventually, she found a position that allows her to combine both worlds: managing accounts, training pharmacy staff, and supporting compliance—all while traveling and engaging directly with clients.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, as well as an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences. She is credentialed in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), further underscoring her commitment to quality improvement and patient-centered care.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my journey that started in pharmacy, where I spent over 20 years working closely with patients. Over time, I realized I wanted to be part of the bigger picture, leading me to explore IT roles in healthcare, and eventually, I found a position that allows me to combine both worlds: managing accounts, training pharmacy staff, and supporting compliance—all while traveling and engaging directly with clients. I wanted to challenge myself, so I went back to school and recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration—at 42! It was a personal milestone and also necessary for where I saw my career going. I’m passionate about learning and constantly evolving. My next steps include pursuing a PMP certification, and eventually, a master’s in healthcare informatics.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received comes from Maya Angelou: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” That, along with being open to innovation and learning, guides me every day—especially in healthcare and technology, where change is constant.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is simple: perseverance and lifelong learning are the keys. Your path won’t look like anyone else’s, and that’s okay. Be curious. Be bold enough to start over. And remember, you’re never too old or too experienced to learn something new. Don’t limit yourself—you’ll never know what you’re capable of until you try.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the industry is adapting to the rapid pace of technology, especially in pharmacy compliance. Keeping up with DSCSA regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and emerging data trends takes focus and continuous upskilling. But I truly believe compliance and innovation can go hand-in-hand if you’re willing to put in the work.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value optimism, persistence, and resourcefulness—qualities that ground me both personally and professionally. I never give up, and I dedicate myself fully to everything I do. Outside of work, I love staying active—whether it’s playing softball, exploring coffee shops, camping, kayaking, or just spending time outdoors. Those moments help me reset, recharge, and keep balance with the hustle.
