What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentor and biggest supporter, my mother, Felecia Johnson. She has been an incredible inspiration, demonstrating the power of hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout my life. Her guidance has uplifted me at every stage of my journey and has shaped the way I approach my career and personal growth.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay true to yourself, be a collaborative team player, and continuously invest in learning and expanding your skills. By doing so, you’ll position yourself as a valued contributor in every aspect of your work.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity in my field right now is creating and implementing diverse, inclusive cultures. When people feel valued and supported, engagement, accountability, and performance improve. Leaders who prioritize inclusion alongside operational excellence will shape stronger, more resilient organizations.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value to me in both my work and personal life is integrity. I strive to approach everything I do with honesty, responsibility, and a strong moral compass. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through working out, exploring new ideas through documentaries, watching horror shows, cheering on my boyfriend in his basketball coaching, and cherishing quality time with my wonderful family.
