Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jennifer

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of hard work, integrity, resilience, and surrounding myself with like-minded people.

My success is also driven by my willingness to continually learn, adapt, and step outside of my comfort zone. I believe my background as a professional educator taught me the importance of listening, communicating effectively, building meaningful relationships, and meeting people where they are. These skills have become a strong foundation for my success in consultative sales.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the best pieces of advice I have ever been given is “Fortuna audaces iuvat”; Fortune Favors the Bold.

It became my personal motto and a reminder that being bold doesn't mean the absence of fear; it means having the courage to move forward despite it, and to trust myself to take the next step.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to surround themselves with people who challenge, support, and inspire them. Find mentors, build genuine relationships, ask questions, and never be afraid to learn from people who know more than you.

Most importantly, I believe women should never underestimate the power of their voice. Be persistent, advocate for yourself, and don't wait for someone else to give you permission to pursue what you want.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I face is keeping pace with an industry that is constantly evolving. Technology, SaaS, AI, and customer expectations are changing quickly, which requires that I continually learn, adapt, and stay ahead of the curve.

I also believe one of the greatest challenges in sales today is balancing technology with genuine human connection. Customers have more information and more choices than ever, so successful selling requires more than knowing the product. It requires listening, understanding the customer's business, building trust, and becoming a true strategic partner.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me both professionally and personally are integrity, relationships, resilience, growth, and authenticity.

Integrity is at the heart of everything I do. I believe in doing the right thing, keeping my word, and treating people with honesty and respect.

I deeply value relationships and believe success is built through genuine connections. I surround myself with people who challenge, support, and inspire me, and I strive to do the same for others.

Resilience and courage have shaped my career, especially my transition from education into consultative sales. My personal motto, Fortune Favors the Bold, reminds me to trust myself, embrace challenges, and keep moving forward.

Above all, I value continuous learning and lifting others up. I want to inspire people and bring positivity, authenticity, and purpose to everything I do.
