Jennifer Jorns
Jennifer Jorns is an experienced educator and school climate professional, currently serving as the School Climate Specialist at Middle Georgia RESA. In this role, she focuses on fostering positive learning environments, supporting staff development, and implementing programs that enhance student engagement and well-being. With a career spanning nearly three decades in education, Jennifer brings extensive expertise in special education, instructional support, and leadership development.
Jennifer began her career as a Special Education Teacher at Jasper County High School, where she taught for almost 17 years, cultivating strong communication and leadership skills. She later served as ISC Special Education Team Lead at Cedar Shoals High School and Coordinator of Instructional Student Support at Monroe County Schools, leading initiatives in classroom training and staff development. Her hands-on experience in diverse educational settings has shaped her deep understanding of both student and teacher needs.
Jennifer holds a Master’s degree in Behavior Disorders, a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Teaching, all from Georgia College & State University. Inspired by her mother and guided by mentors including Tony Price, Howard Fore, and Noris Price, she continues to prioritize educational leadership, mentorship, and professional growth. Outside of her professional life, Jennifer enjoys running, reading, and home decorating, balancing her commitment to education with personal passions.
