Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jennifer

01What do you attribute your success to?

My work ethic has gotten me through tough times. I always show up even when I don't feel good or don't have all the answers. My children see that in me and remember my strong work ethic. Though the industry lacks work-life balance, showing up consistently is key.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Put your best self forward because appearance matters. Be consistent, start your day early, work diligent hours, and avoid procrastination as it will derail you in this detail-oriented stressful industry. Always be learning and proactive.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

It's a very stressful industry with not much work/life balance. It's detail-oriented with ever-changing regulations, market verticals, and global time zones making long hours necessary.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My moral compass and transparency are very important. Always do the right thing even when it's not easy or no one is looking. Appreciate your team and be transparent internally and externally.
