01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the example set by my mother, who worked as an Executive Assistant. Through her professionalism, strong work ethic, organizational skills, and dedication, she instilled in me the importance of integrity, perseverance, and attention to detail. Her guidance and example have shaped my approach to my career and continue to inspire me to strive for excellence in everything I do.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to document everything. Maintaining clear, accurate records promotes accountability, supports informed decision-making, minimizes misunderstandings, and provides a reliable reference when managing projects, resolving challenges, or collaborating with others. This simple practice has been invaluable throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to stay curious, ask questions, and never stop learning. Build meaningful professional relationships through networking, remain adaptable as the industry evolves, and be authentic in everything you do. Most importantly, never underestimate the value of your unique skills, perspectives, and contributions they are key to making a lasting impact and advancing your career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field is ensuring that Executive Assistants receive the same level of recognition, professional development, and career advancement opportunities as other business roles. Executive Assistants play a critical role in driving organizational success through strategic support, operational efficiency, and leadership partnership, and greater acknowledgment of their contributions would help elevate the profession and attract top talent.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The value that is most important to me in both my work and personal life is maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I believe that achieving balance enables me to perform at my best professionally while also prioritizing my well-being, family, and personal growth. A balanced approach fosters resilience, productivity, and long-term success, allowing me to bring my best self to every aspect of my life.
