I attribute my success to resilience, dedication, and a strong commitment to patient care. I believe that maintaining professionalism under pressure and continuously seeking opportunities to learn have been essential to my growth and longevity in the field.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering this industry to trust their abilities, speak up with confidence, and advocate for themselves. In high-pressure healthcare environments, I’ve found that knowledge, thorough preparation, and self-belief are essential for success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in medical imaging right now is managing staffing shortages, burnout, and increasing patient volumes. At the same time, I see significant opportunities in health informatics, technology integration, and workflow innovation—areas that can enhance patient outcomes while better supporting healthcare professionals.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are integrity, empathy, professionalism, and mental wellness. I believe that to provide the best care for patients, healthcare providers must also care for themselves to sustain long-term success and prevent burnout.

Outside of work, I am passionate about suicide prevention advocacy and animal rescue, and I enjoy creative outlets like painting inspirational messages on rocks. I also practice meditation and self-care to help manage the emotional demands of trauma-focused healthcare work.
