What do you attribute your success to?
To making a difference. The loss of a loved one to suicide prompted a deeper commitment to helping others; combined with receiving mentorship in corporate roles that took time to teach and support, this shaped her drive to support others' resilience and security.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Mentors who took the time to teach without judgment. Also the guiding belief she often hears and follows: don't focus on the money; focus on your mission and the impact, and money will follow.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Trust your intuition and instincts; prioritize purpose and impact over financial metrics; be willing to take risks when a role drains your soul; define roles clearly with partners; and support other women in business.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges: an insurance-driven healthcare system that limits access, a projected shortage of doctors, and a growing mental-health crisis. Opportunities: the rise in demand for holistic approaches, increased autonomy for nurse practitioners, regenerative and alternative medicine innovations, and ethical sourcing partnerships with Indigenous communities.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Purpose-driven impact, resilience, humanity, internal sustainability, and trusting intuition and spiritual connection.
