Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jennifer
01What do you attribute your success to?
I feel like I'm really good with our nurses that we've hired. They've been great to me. I feel like I'm super helpful when it comes to them as far as communication. I feel like I'm always checking on them. I think that that's what makes me successful with what I'm doing right now.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You only can do what you can do. And always remember why you do this. Always remember why you do this.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just do it. Take the chance and just do it. If you keep waiting for that, you know, this and that, you're never gonna do it. Just do it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is insurance not wanting to cover prescriptions for patients. Opportunities include the satisfaction of a patient-nurse relationship, flexibility to do infusions on your own time, a great team, and easy-to-work-with pharmacies.
