Jennifer Mederos

Jennifer Mederos has worked as a cosmetologist and barber for approximately 16 years. She attended school for business and cosmetology simultaneously and, after completing cosmetology school, apprenticed under a barber to explore men's grooming. Her passion for the field stems from a lifelong creativity and desire to make people beautiful, which began in childhood when she styled family members' hair. Mederos finds particular joy in transforming clients' appearances and boosting their confidence, as seen in their reactions to their reflections. She approaches entrepreneurship by understanding that challenges arise but can be managed through well-developed systems that turn operations into a well-oiled machine. In addition to her professional pursuits, Mederos has volunteered at La Frontera homeless shelter in Arizona, providing donations, cooked meals, clothing, and other essentials to those in need.
