About Jennifer
Jennifer Ottmann is a distinguished luxury hospitality executive with extensive experience leading world-class resort and food and beverage operations across North America and the Caribbean. As Vice President of Food & Beverage at The Boca Raton, she oversees operations spanning five hotels and 20 dining venues, driving exceptional guest experiences through operational excellence, strategic leadership, and a people-first management philosophy. Her expertise is strengthened by both a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Economics and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Strategic Business Valuation from McMaster University. Jennifer's career began in Canada, where she developed a passion for hospitality while attending university before advancing into leadership roles with Margaritaville Caribbean Group in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. She later served as Multi-Unit General Manager at Baha Mar, expanding her expertise in luxury resort operations before joining The Boca Raton as Executive Director of Food & Beverage. After a successful tenure as Director of Operations with Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, she returned to The Boca Raton to lead its food and beverage division, reflecting the confidence the organization places in her leadership and operational vision. Throughout her career, Jennifer has championed a leadership style centered on visibility, accountability, continuous coaching, and genuine care for both guests and team members. She believes that luxury hospitality is built through disciplined systems rather than isolated moments of excellence, emphasizing consistent training, empowered leadership, and unwavering service standards. Under her leadership, The Boca Raton achieved historic recognition as the only quadruple Five-Star resort in the Americas by Forbes Travel Guide, while also earning prestigious distinctions from Michelin Key and Leading Hotels - milestones that underscore her commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences and cultivating high-performing teams.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work above all else. I believe that consistent effort, dedication, and always striving to be the hardest worker in the room are what drive success and create opportunities for growth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to be the person who says yes to opportunities. I strive to be someone leaders can rely on—someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to step up whenever needed.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me are genuine care, kindness, and a sincere interest in others. I have the privilege of working with talented people every day, and I believe treating everyone with compassion, respect, and authenticity is essential to building strong relationships and achieving meaningful success.
