Value people and lead with sincerity. Own your mistakes and reflect on criticism. Stay connected to the strengths and principles that define your leadership style.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Recruitment and retention of staff: Building a strong culture of engagement takes time and requires commitment from staff and leaders alike. Impressive progress has been made, and I am encouraged by our positive momentum in our organization, and industry as a whole.

Another challenge are the barriers that pull staff away from direct patient care. Our leaders continually work to balance demands of our patients and our team.
