Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jennifer

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think it's my character and my ethics. I truly believe it's my ethics because when I answer the questions I look at it from an ethical perspective, a non-biased perspective, and I truly believe that I'm answering these for what is best for humanity.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Just say yes before you're ready. I built my tenure and career on being courageous, not afraid to take on a project without a roadmap. Setbacks don't define you, and resilience creates new opportunities.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Take it all in, just little bites at a time. The language is really tough but that's okay. What you're doing today is going to really impact generations to come.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Getting back into the industry after a significant life change has been the biggest challenge. I have 15 years of experience but it's been hard to reconnect.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, resilience, relationships and growth are my key values.
