About Jennifer
Jennifer Fehr Warnstedt is an accomplished hospitality and events leader with more than 20 years of experience creating and delivering large-scale conferences, corporate gatherings, VIP programs, and experiential events. She currently serves as Director of Events at Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort, where she leads cross-functional teams and oversees a substantial events portfolio. Her expertise spans event strategy, hospitality operations, client relationships, revenue planning, and experience design, with a focus on translating business objectives into memorable experiences that strengthen engagement and brand impact.
Jennifer’s career reflects a diverse and unconventional path. She studied Public Health and Educational Psychology at the University of Minnesota before earning a cosmetology degree and eventually discovering her passion for hospitality and events. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in catering sales, event management, sales operations, and estate management, including positions with Club Med and The Camby Hotel. At Grand Hyatt Scottsdale, she has helped lead teams through major operational changes and a significant resort renovation while supporting high-profile events, including Super Bowl-related programs. She also holds a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential and a real estate license.
Beyond event execution, Jennifer is passionate about leadership, mentorship, resilience, and developing high-performing teams. She emphasizes collaboration, accountability, authentic relationships, and creating experiences that leave lasting impressions on guests and clients. She is actively involved in professional organizations and community initiatives and is committed to supporting women and emerging leaders in the hospitality and events industry. Her career and personal experiences have reinforced her belief in embracing change, continually reinventing oneself, and helping others succeed along the way.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My resilience after navigating a 15-year marriage and divorce while continuing to grow professionally, coming out of COVID impacts in hospitality, and finding meaning in challenges to become stronger and more confident.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Have a hard-working mentality because it's not easy. Do not be afraid of change and embrace reinvention. Growth doesn't stop at any age. Remember what makes you happy and go for it. Be a stronger woman and navigate challenges.
