Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jennifer

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to both the challenges and opportunities that have taught me to recognize value in myself and in others. Over the past decade, I’ve been deeply impacted by incredible leaders who invested in me, helping me find my voice and confidently take my seat at the table. Through those experiences, I’ve come to understand the true power of mentorship, and I strive to pay that forward by supporting and uplifting others as I have been supported.

Later in my career, my time at Goshen Health marked the beginning of a true empowerment stage. It was there that I was encouraged to recognize my leadership potential, find my voice, and step more fully into the value I had to offer.

Amy Woodall, Founder and CEO of Conscious Habit and Co-Founder of High Vibe Tribe Retreats for women, has been an incredible leader, mentor, and friend. Her influence has shaped both my professional path and my personal growth in profound ways. Through her guidance, I’ve deepened my self-awareness, strengthened my voice, and learned to lead and live more consciously from the inside out. Her purpose of helping others recognize their true potential is not only something she teaches, but something she lives. Through her work and the Conscious Habit framework, she continues to create a powerful ripple effect, impacting lives and leaders around the world.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received is that "you must first prepare yourself as a vessel before you can pour into others." To me, this means continually learning, growing, and finding ways to fill my cup so I can show up as my best self in service to others. It took me years for this message to truly sink in, but over time I’ve come to understand that investing in my own growth is the foundation for making a meaningful impact. Thank you to Sarah Reuter, Founder and CEO of Experiences Elevated Consulting, for her private coaching and mentorship. The timing was exactly what I needed for this message to land in the way it was meant to.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to never stop learning and investing in your growth. Continuously developing your skills and believing in your own value are essential to building a strong foundation and thriving in this field. Love yourself and love others is a powerful gift we are given to embrace and to share.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in our field is bridging the communication gap between administrative professionals and leaders, while another is securing budgets for professional development. Both areas present opportunities to strengthen collaboration and invest in these critical team members. "When Admins rise, partnerships strengthen and organizations thrive."

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me both personally and professionally are spirituality, authenticity, compassion, connection, and growth. I strive to live by these principles through the Fruit of the Spirit {Galatians 5:22–23}, letting them shape how I lead, collaborate, and engage with others. By staying true to these core values, I can navigate both personal and professional challenges with purpose and integrity.
