Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a lifelong passion for design and construction, starting from childhood summers spent drawing house plans and studying architectural courses. My career has taken me through electrical work, structural and detention precast, and now into modular estimating—where I focus on delivering projects on time and under budget. I've been fortunate to have leaders like Steve Weirich, who recognized my potential, gave me space to grow, and guided me toward the next steps in my professional journey.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is: “Don’t use three words when one will do.” It taught me the value of clarity and precision in communication. I also learned the importance of pausing before hitting send—sometimes it’s better to rethink and refine your message. Another piece of advice that’s stuck with me is, “Ask the right questions to get the answers you want.” It’s a reminder that thoughtful inquiry often leads to the most impactful outcomes.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is simple: don’t be afraid to speak up. Your voice and perspective are just as valuable as anyone else’s. You’re just as capable—never let anyone make you feel otherwise.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value honesty, integrity, and clear communication—being direct and transparent helps build trust and drive results. Family is very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three cats. Outside of work, I love to crochet, a skill passed down from my grandmother, and I’m passionate about mentoring others. I take pride in improving processes, identifying inefficiencies, and finding smarter ways to work.
