01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success in real estate to a combination of consistency, strong communication, and genuinely putting my clients’ best interests first. I’ve built my business on trust and relationships, not just transactions. I make sure every client feels informed and supported from start to finish, which naturally leads to referrals and repeat business.
I also stay very proactive—whether it’s lead generation, market knowledge, or following up—because I believe success in this industry comes from daily discipline, not occasional effort. On top of that, I focus on positioning myself in the market, especially in areas like luxury and pre-construction, which allows me to attract higher-quality opportunities.
At the end of the day, it’s about being consistent, professional, and truly committed to delivering results for my clients.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell other young women in this industry to believe in their value early and not wait for permission to step into bigger opportunities. Real estate can be very competitive, but confidence, consistency, and professionalism will set you apart.
Don’t be afraid to take up space, ask questions, and negotiate—whether it’s for your clients or for yourself. Build your knowledge, stay disciplined, and focus on long-term relationships instead of quick wins.
Also, protect your time and energy. Not every deal or client is the right fit, and learning to set boundaries is just as important as closing deals.
Most importantly, stay authentic. You don’t have to fit into anyone else’s mold to be successful. Your unique personality and approach are actually your biggest strengths.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity in real estate right now—especially in South Florida—is pre-construction and working with international buyers. We’re seeing a huge portion of new development being driven by global demand, with around 50%+ of pre-construction purchases coming from international buyers.
Pre-construction is attractive because it offers modern product, flexible payment structures, and long-term appreciation potential, which is exactly what many investors are looking for. A lot of these buyers are cash, which creates stability in the market even when interest rates fluctuate.
At the same time, one of the biggest challenges is that the market is becoming more complex. Buyers have more options, inventory is increasing, and pricing has become more sensitive, so it’s no longer just about selling—it’s about positioning, education, and strategy.
Another challenge, especially in Florida, is insurance costs and financing, which can impact affordability and decision-making. But interestingly, that’s also where opportunity comes in—because clients now rely more on knowledgeable agents to guide them through these complexities.
So overall, I’d say this is a market where expertise really matters. Agents who understand pre-construction, international transactions, and how to navigate today’s shifting conditions are in the best position to grow.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Caring is a very big one for me, along with empathy. I always treat my customers like they're my friends. When I have a client who never met me before, I don't just stay professional and stick with business - I bring sometimes a little bit of personal experience in or give a glimpse of my personal life, so they see that Jenny is not just a real estate agent, Jenny is a person, Jenny is a mom, Jenny is this, Jenny is that. It's not just that person trying to sell something right now. When they see you more as a human, they trust you more. Trust is very important, honesty is very important, and empathy - I think they are the fundamentals of almost every kind of business.
