Her background combines strategic planning, stakeholder management, budgeting, logistics, and performance measurement.
What do you attribute your success to?
Being open to new challenges and having a great group of women to be able to bounce ideas off of and get feedback from. They are my support system and I could not have gotten to where I am without them.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. In the world of events, something will always go wrong. What's important is how you react to it, and what you do afterwards to make it a learning opportunity.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be open to the different opportunities that are out there. When I started, it wasn't a direct line to event / conference management, but once I found what I excel at, I was able to adjust my career trajectory to fall within the industry that I really resonated with.
