Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jenny

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to realizing the impact of my decisions and the value of my opinions. We can take our lives into our own hands. I measure the priority of goals, set a path, and don't give up. If I obtain it, it shows I can do anything.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice was to feel more confident in speaking up because your opinion is valid and valuable. Self-educating and finding interest in what you do was a major pivot.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be intimidated by people who sound like they know what they're talking about. With expertise or time, it becomes clearer that you know more than you think. Don't compare yourself to others. Be confident in your own decisions and opinions.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges include the fast-paced nature with AI impacting search results and deciphering real information from hype or clicks. People stuck in their ways struggle. Opportunities: adapting and improving skills leads to being seen as a thought leader and sharing unique data.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Disconnecting from work and separating work and life is huge, especially in a digital environment. Taking care of mental and physical health without sacrificing it for work. Creating flexible schedules, understanding burnout, and maintaining balance while succeeding.
