Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my unwavering faith in God, the strength of my family, and the power of community. I believe that every opportunity I've received is rooted in purpose, and I channel that purpose into uplifting others, especially my students. Even though I was bullied and felt like a nobody growing up, I've learned that so many people were watching and rooting for me without me even knowing it. That realization taught me that my story matters, and if I could overcome those challenges and make it, then anyone can. I'm always big on networking and community because I believe in the power of connection and helping others access the same opportunities I've had. I have no problem investing in myself because I know that growth and learning are what keep me moving forward.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

To remain adaptable and trust the process, even when life doesn't go according to plan. My pivot from fashion to education during COVID ultimately revealed my true calling.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never allow your environment to limit your vision. Stay consistent, believe in your purpose, and don't be afraid to build something from the ground up. Success is not defined by where you start, but by how committed you are to growing and learning. I thought I was average, just a nobody, but it turns out people were watching and rooting for me all along. If I could do it, you can do it too. Don't let being bullied or feeling like you don't matter stop you from pursuing your dreams. Document your journey, invest in yourself, and remember that your story is significant even when you don't think it is.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is ensuring equitable access to resources for economically disadvantaged students. However, this also presents a powerful opportunity - to bridge gaps through education, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy programs that can transform entire communities.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith, resilience, integrity, service, and empowerment. I'm deeply committed to pouring into others, leading with compassion, and creating opportunities for those who may not otherwise have access. I'm always big on networking and community, especially when it helps me connect with women who are trying to do the same thing. I believe in investing in myself and documenting my journey not for fame, but to show others that if I could overcome being bullied and feeling like a nobody, they can achieve their dreams too. My content creation is about telling my story authentically because I want people to know that ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
